Posh Paddocks was established to provide a reliable, hassle free paddock maintenance service to horse owners. More specifically we can cater for landowners who have small areas of land, or paddocks which are difficult to access due to narrow gates, or steep ground.
This continues to be the main aspect of the business. However we have since formed a sister business, Country Conservation, to take full advantage of the specialist equipment we have, which is ideal for larger contract works such as gorse or scrub clearance, creating fire breaks and managing wildflower meadows.
As horse owners ourselves we have felt the same frustration many of you have when trying to organise someone to top, roll or chain harrow our paddocks, at a time when we want them to. Coupled with steep fields with narrow gateways and low hanging branches, it wasn’t hard to see why we weren’t on the top of local farmers or contractors list of jobs to do!
When discussing this with other horsey friends, it soon became apparent that we were not alone! The result was Posh Paddocks.
