Haylage and Straw Supplies

We supply haylage and straw to many of our equestrian clients. We cut, make and store our own haylage and where possible make sure it is good quality, weed free grass that is used. The bale sizes vary from the smallest, which is approximately 3’6” square, and which can be handled by 1 – 2 people quite easily; through to the larger sizes of 6’0” bales, which are mainly used by bigger establishments which have several horses to feed.

Our straw uses the conventional small bale size and is predominantly barley straw. The baler used in this process is a high density machine, which means you get much more packed into the bale, ensuring you get good value for your money.

We can deliver both haylage and straw direct to your stables, although we do make a small charge towards the mileage covered. However, this charge is more than outweighed by the convenience of having the fodder delivered to your door, when you want it.

Stocks of both haylage and straw are usually held right throughout the year, so if your current supplier has run out, do give us a call.
