Conservation Services | Bracken Control
Bracken Control
Bracken control can be attained in a number of ways:
- A roller is used to bruise the stems of the bracken plant which causes the stem to ‘bleed’ and the plant to die.
- Flail cutting regularly every 6-8 weeks will reduce the plant population considerably.
- Spraying with a tractor mounted sprayer, where environmental conditions allow, will also prove to be an effective method of control. The operator has PA1 and PA2 qualifications ensuring that accurate and safe practices are carried out at all times.
