Open Space Maintenance

These areas are often wildlife habitats which need to be carefully managed. They are normally maintained only once or twice each year so considerable care is taken to avoid causing unnecessary damage to the flora and fauna. It may also be a requirement to remove or collect the vegetation which has been cut so that any nutrient value is not added to the ground. These areas are used by members of the public so procedures are set in place so that their welfare and safety is assured at all times.
